Australia ODI Squad for England and Scotland

Australia have announced their 18-man squad for the limited-overs series starting from Aug 29.


Right-arm leg spinner, Fawad Ahmed has been included to the squad and likely to debut for Australia. Fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has also been included and should play his first ODIs in three years, while Doherty and the allrounder Mitchell Marsh were dropped from the squad.

The 18-man Aussie squad to play two Twenty20s against England then the squad be trimmed to 15 for the one-off ODI against Scotland and five against England in September.

Australia Squad: Michael Clarke (ODI capt), George Bailey (T20 capt), James Faulkner, Aaron Finch, Nathan Coulter-Nile,  Josh Hazlewood, Fawad Ahmed, Phillip Hughes, Mitchell Johnson, Shaun Marsh, Steven Smith, Mitchell Starc, Glenn Maxwell, Clint McKay, Adam Voges, Matthew Wade (wk), David Warner, Shane Watson.

Nathan Bracken sues Cricket Australia

Melbourne, Thursday, October 13, 2011 Former Australian fast bowler Nathan bracken has taken Cricket Australia (CA) to the court, claiming that when he was struggling with his chronic knee injury then he did not receive any compensation for lost wages, damages and medical expenses from Cricket Australia. Bracken took his retirement in January and could not play the entire 2010 season last year due to injury. According to the report of Daily Telegraph Bracken is seeking about $1 million from CA.
