BBL 2020: Brisbane Heat re-sign Jimmy Peirson

Brisbane Heat have re-signed wicket-keeper batsman Jimmy Peirson for a further two years ahead of the 10th edition of Big Bash League.

The 28-year-old has played 60 matches for the Heat since joining the franchise back in 2014-15.


The Heat has also secured the 25-year-old batsman Sam Heazlett and right-arm seamer Mark Steketee on new deals.

Brisbane Heat to begin their campaign against the Melbourne Stars on December 11 followed by a clash with the Sydney Thunder on December 14.

Nathan Bracken sues Cricket Australia

Melbourne, Thursday, October 13, 2011 Former Australian fast bowler Nathan bracken has taken Cricket Australia (CA) to the court, claiming that when he was struggling with his chronic knee injury then he did not receive any compensation for lost wages, damages and medical expenses from Cricket Australia. Bracken took his retirement in January and could not play the entire 2010 season last year due to injury. According to the report of Daily Telegraph Bracken is seeking about $1 million from CA.
