Leicestershire sign Dan Redfern

The Left-handed batsman Dan Redfern has signed a two-year contract with Leicestershire.


The former Derbyshire batsman is the youngest batsman ever to play List A limited overs cricket. He averages 29.47, in 70 first-class matches.

The 23-year-old said: "I am grateful to Phil Whitticase and his staff for this opportunity and look forward to the challenge ahead."
