Alan Richardson named as Warwickshire bowling coach

Alan Richardson has been named as Warwickshire bowling coach after following his retirement. He will replaces Graeme Welch, reports The Telegraph.


Richardson, 38, had played for Derbyshire, Warwickshire, Middlesex and Worcestershire. He made his County Championship debut in 1999, for Warwickshire

"I have been working on my coaching qualifications for some time and, whilst I had planned to have one more season as a player with Worcestershire, this is a fantastic opportunity for me in this next stage of my career with Warwickshire," Richardson said.
