Marlon Samuels signs Melbourne Renegades


West Indies batsman Marlon Samuels has signed Melbourne Renegades for the coming season of Big Bash League.

Simon Helmot, Renegades coach said, "He'll provide much-needed firepower at the top of the order and brings a certain X-factor to the team, His quality right-arm offies [offspin] and excellent fielding combine to make him a genuine allrounder. 
Marlon provides a huge boost for the team in all facets of the game and we can't wait to see him in Renegade red this summer."

Sri Lanka have announced a 16-man squad for the one-day and Twenty20 matches against Australia. The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
