KFC Big Bash Twenty 20 League

Today here in Sydney Cricket Australia launched the upcoming KFC T20 Big Bash League in a sparkling night.


All eight franchises unveiled their uniforms and captains for the Big Bash Twenty 20 League

The captains are:

* Brisbane Heat – James Hopes
* Adelaide Strikers – Michael Klinger
* Hobart Hurricanes – Tim Paine
* Melbourne Stars - Cameron White
* Melbourne Renegades – Andrew McDonald
* Perth Scorchers – Marcus North
* Sydney Thunder – David Warner
* Sydney Sixers – Brad Haddin

KFC Big Bash Twenty 20 League competition will begin on 16 December with a clash between the Brisbane Heat and the Sydney Sixers at the SCG

The semi finals will be held on January 21 (1st vs 4th) and January 22 (2nd vs3rd) and the very first KFC T20 Big Bash League final will held on January 28.

Nathan Bracken sues Cricket Australia

Melbourne, Thursday, October 13, 2011 Former Australian fast bowler Nathan bracken has taken Cricket Australia (CA) to the court, claiming that when he was struggling with his chronic knee injury then he did not receive any compensation for lost wages, damages and medical expenses from Cricket Australia. Bracken took his retirement in January and could not play the entire 2010 season last year due to injury. According to the report of Daily Telegraph Bracken is seeking about $1 million from CA.
