76 matches will be played in IPL 5, auctions in Jan


Indian Premier League for the fifth tournament, auctions will be start at the end of January or at the beginning of February. For each IPL franchises get cap of $2 million to spend on players.


The players of the Kochi Tuskers Kerala franchise will be part of the auction, which was terminated by BCCI earlier in this year.

The IPL Governing council increased the number of players from 30 to 33 in each team. In IPL-5, foreign players will be 11 instead of 10 for each team. However, two more Indian players can be included to each team's roster.

The IPL-5 season will start on April 4 in Chennai and the final will also be played in Chennai on May 27, 2012. There will be an additional four play-off matches, in Bangalore and Chennai.

Nathan Bracken sues Cricket Australia

Melbourne, Thursday, October 13, 2011 Former Australian fast bowler Nathan bracken has taken Cricket Australia (CA) to the court, claiming that when he was struggling with his chronic knee injury then he did not receive any compensation for lost wages, damages and medical expenses from Cricket Australia.
