Waqar Younis has resigned as a coach for pakistan team because of personal reasons that his and his wife's health. His last and final assignment with pakistan team will be the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe.
Waqar Younis said at press conference "I have tendered my resignation to the [Pakistan Cricket] board last week and the tour to Zimbabwe will be my last."
"I only told the players on Saturday morning, and they were shocked because until today the matter was between me and the PCB, but I am sure that this young team will do well in future."
Nadeem Sarwar, PCB spokesman said: "The PCB has accepted his resignation and understands his personal reasons. His tenure was good and we wish him the best in his future."
The PCB did not yet confirm the replacement for Waqar.
The Zimbabwe tour will begin on August 28 and it includes one practice game, one Test match, three ODIs and two T20 internationals.
