IPL-5 Begin from 4th April 2012


New Delhi, 27 June 2011

Indian Premier League 5th season will begin from 4th April to May 27 of the next year.the tournament will be held for 54 days during 74 matches. The BCCI announced today at Delhi.



IPL Chairman Chirayu Amin said in a statement: "We are delighted to confirm the final date of 2012 IPL tournament before the 10 months ago and we have no doubt that the fifth season of the IPL will be more exciting than previous seasons."

Sri Lanka ODI, T20 squad for Australia

Sri Lanka have announced a 16-man squad for the one-day and Twenty20 matches against Australia. The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
