IPL auction 2022 will be a combat between 10 teams, it was 8 before but two new teams have been added to the competition. Lucknow and Ahmedabad will be the two new teams featuring in the IPL 2022. 10 teams will bid for their favourite players in the IPL auction 2022. Former England all-rounder Tim Bresnan has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Monday. He last represented England during an ODI match against Ireland in 2015. The 36-year-old played 142 international games for England, including 23 Tests, 85 ODIs and 34 T20Is.  The Pontefract-born cricketer, who made his Test debut against West Indies at Lord's in 2009, has played a pivotal role in the Ashes victory in Australia in 2010-11. During his first-class career, Bresnan has scored 7,138 runs and took 575 wickets with seven centuries and nine five-wicket hauls.

England captain Eoin Morgan will be sidelined for the fourth and fifth match of the T20 series after suffering a minor right thigh-muscle injury. The Irishman has suffered a minor right thigh-muscle injury which will keep him out for the remaining matches of the T20 international series against the West Indies. The 35-year-old was forced to miss the 20-run defeat to the hosts on Wednesday after having pain in the pre-match warm-up. The allrounder Moeen Ali will lead the side in Morgan's absence and is likely to retain the role for the rest of the series this weekend.

The Ashes 2021-22 is slated to begin on December 08. The Brisbane Cricket Ground, known as the Gabba, will host the opening Test of the five-match series. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that Pakistan will host Australia in March 2022. The multi-format tour is slated to begin on March 03 and continue till April 05.  The tour will have three-match Test series followed by as many ODIs and a solitary T20 International.
