New Zealand Test Squad against Zimbabwe

New Zealand great batsman Jesse Ryder will miss Test match against Zimbabwe start from November 1. He is out due to his injury in the warm-up match in Bulawayo against Zimbabwe-A and hence confirmed the strain. New Zealand test squad: Ross Taylor (capt), Doug Bracewell, Graeme Aldridge, Chris Martin, Dean Brownlie, Brendon McCullum, Martin Guptill, Jeetan Patel, Andy McKay, Daniel Vettori, BJ Watling, Kane Williamson and Reece Young.

Indian test team announced against West Indies

Kolkata, Friday, October 28, 2011 National selectors has been finally excluded off-spinner Harbhajan Singh from Indian test team, Whereas, Virender Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh has been included in the test team squad. Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, pragyan Ojha and young leg spinner Rahul Sharma has included in the team. However, leg spinner Amit Mishra has been discharged from the test team squad. Virender sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh have been out of his injuries and are included in the team. Selectors gave a new look to fast bowling Department Umesh Yadav and Varun Aaron has been in for the test squad in place of Praveen Kumar and S. sreesanth Great performances against the England Ajinkya Rahane reserve a place in the team for opener. Dhoni ranked third in the ICC ODI Rankings

After India's 5-0 win over England, man of the series captain MS Dhoni is now ranked in third position in ICC ODI rankings . Off-spinner R Ashwin took ten wickets in the series and ranked in first top 20 bowlers in ICC Ranking. Ravinder jadeja ranked 12th position in All-rounder list. 100 Sri Lankan cricketers not paid yet

Colombo, Thursday, October 27, 2011 Nearly 100 Sri Lankan cricketers have not been paid since the World Cup 2011 in April due to the huge debt that the Sri Lanka Cricket Board is facing. There are reports that the Sri Lanka Cricket Board may not be in a position to pay the players over the next couple of months. Sri Lanka cricket Chief Upali Dharmadasa said in a media report, " There is a truth in those media reports to a certain extent Sri Lanka Cricket is still awaiting payment from the ICC for co-hosting the World Cup 2011. The ICC still owes us $4-5 million ."

England is number 1 in Twenty-20 Rankings

International Cricket Council ( ICC ) Twenty-20 world champion England is in the number one team in T20 ranking, while England's batsman Eoin Morgan is the number 1 in batting rating, Sri Lankan spinner Ajantha Mendis is the top bowler and Shane Watson of Australia is the top all-rounder. England has 127 points and Sri Lanka with 126 points. If England win the Twenty-20 match against India on October 29 at Eden gardens then England would get four points, if England lose the match then they will slipped down from Sri Lanka. New Zealand (117) Thirdly, South Africa (113) the fourth, India (112) fifth and Australia (111) is in the sixth place. Pakistan (97) in seventh followed by West Indies, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe.

Jacques Rudolph's return to the African test team

Johannesburg, October 23, 2011 Opener Jacques Rudolph has return to the South Africa test team after five-year long. South Africa to play two test series against Australia in next month. Rudolph has played last match in August 2006. The chairman of South Africa's selection committee, Andrew Hudson has said in a statement that the Rudolph will start the innings with the captain Graeme Smith . His experience and form would be useful to the team. Tim Bresnan fined for his behavior

England fast bowler Tim Bresnan has been fined 7.5% match fees of the third ODI against India on Thursday due to the complications with umpire during the match. This event took place in 18th over during Indian innings after completing his fifth over, bresnan snatched his cap from  the hands of the umpire Sudhir asnani .
