Sachin, Yuvraj To Own a Car Racing Team?


Indian Star Cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh were approached to buy a car racing team in the proposed i1 Super Series which begins from December 18. The base price of a team will be USD 5 million.

Nine teams, with two-two cars each, will compete in the races that will take place in seven cities of Asia.


The CEO of event promoters Machdar Motorsports, M Darshan has today said in a press conference "Cricket and Bollywood stars and a few top industrialists have already shown a keen interest to own the nine Indian city-based franchise teams. Cricketers Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh have been approached."

Great batsman Tendulkar himself is a big fan of formula 1 and recently sachin sold his ferrari to a surat city based businessmam.

Sri Lanka ODI, T20 squad for Australia

Sri Lanka have announced a 16-man squad for the one-day and Twenty20 matches against Australia. The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
