Lanka Premier League 2022 set to begin on December 6

The third and latest edition of the Lanka Premier League is to get underway on December 6 in 2023.

The T20 format competition will conclude on December 23.

The opening game will be played between Jaffna Kings and Galle Gladiators.

The tournament’s 1st round will have 20 matches and to be scheduled entirely in Hambantota before the tournament moves to Kandy and then Colombo.

The final will take place on December 23 2022 at the RPICS in Colombo.

Nathan Bracken sues Cricket Australia

Melbourne, Thursday, October 13, 2011 Former Australian fast bowler Nathan bracken has taken Cricket Australia (CA) to the court, claiming that when he was struggling with his chronic knee injury then he did not receive any compensation for lost wages, damages and medical expenses from Cricket Australia. Bracken took his retirement in January and could not play the entire 2010 season last year due to injury. According to the report of Daily Telegraph Bracken is seeking about $1 million from CA. Sri Lanka ODI, T20 squad for Australia

Sri Lanka have announced a 16-man squad for the one-day and Twenty20 matches against Australia. The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
