India squad for T20 World Cup 2022

India have announced their squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022, scheduled to take place in Australia.

Jasprit Bumrah, Ravichandran Ashwin and Harshal Patel have been named to the 15-member squad. However, star all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the squad due to his injured right knee. 

Rishabh Pant, Dinesh Karthik and Arshdeep Singh have made it to India’s 15-member squad for the 20-over global showpiece event.

Rohit Sharma (Captain), KL Rahul (vice-captain), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), Dinesh Karthik (wicket-keeper), Hardik Pandya, R. Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel, Arshdeep Singh.

Standby players: Mohammed Shami, Shreyas Iyer, Ravi Bishnoi, Deepak Chahar.
