Caribbean Premier League: Mohammad Amir to make his debut for Barbados Tridents

Former Pakistan seamer Mohammad Amir is ready to make his debut in the latest edition of the Caribbean Premier League, starting from August 28.

The 29-year-old announced his retirement from international cricket in December last year, owing to his feud with Pakistan’s team management.

The veteran speedster continues to feature in the various T20 leagues across the globe. He will now be available in the Caribbean Premier League as the left-arm pacer has been signed by Barbados Tridents for the ninth edition that kicks off in St Kitts & Nevis in August 2021. 

Amir has claimed 59 wickets in 50 T20I for Pakistan.

Sri Lanka have announced a 16-man squad for the one-day and Twenty20 matches against Australia. The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
