PSL 2021: The revised schedule

The sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League is set to resume on June 1.

The T20 competition was postponed last month due to increase covid 19 cases in Karachi.

All the upcoming matches of PSL 2021 will be held in Karachi.

Here’s the revised schedule for PSL 2021:

June 1: Lahore Qalandars vs Islamabad United

June 2: Multan Sultans vs Karachi Kings

June 3: Islamabad United vs Quetta Gladiators

June 4: Peshawar Zalmi vs Lahore Qalandars

June 5: Islamabad United vs Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans v Quetta Gladiators

June 6: Peshawar Zalmi vs Karachi Kings

June 7: Quetta Gladiators vs Lahore Qalandars

June 8: Multan Sultans vs Peshawar Zalmi

June 9: Islamabad United vs Lahore Qalandars

June 10: Quetta Gladiators vs Karachi Kings

June 11: Multan Sultans vs Islamabad United

June 12: Quetta Gladiators vs Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings vs Lahore Qalandars

June 13: Islamabad United vs Peshawar Zalmi

June 14: Multan Sultans vs Lahore Qalandars

June 16: Qualifier (1 vs 2)

June 17: Eliminator 1 (3 vs 4)

June 18: Eliminator 2 (loser Qualifier vs winner Eliminator 1)

IPL Spot-fixing, Sreesanth and 2 other Rajasthan Royals players held

Three Rajasthan Royals players, Sreesanth , Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan were arrested on Thursday for their alleged involvement in spot-fixing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 6. The trio allegedly received upto Rs 60 lakh for conceding runs in a pre-determined over from bookies with possible Mumbai underworld links. The special cell of the Delhi Police arrested Sreesanth and his teammates — Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan — in Mumbai early this morning for indulging in spot-fixing in at least three IPL matches on May 5, 9 and 15. Eleven bookies have also been arrested from Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The police are on the look-out for two more bookies. A Delhi court has sent the three players and all bookies to five-day police custody. The players, who have been suspended by the BCCI, have been brought to Delhi and charged under Section 420 (cheating) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy).
