Hampshire allrounder Ian Holland has signed a new contract that will keep him at The Ageas Bowl until at least the end of next season. The USA international moved to The Ageas Bowl in 2017 from Victoria and has since gone on to score 1,146 runs and claim 63 wickets across all three formats. India pacer Jasprit Bumrah is reportedly set to tie the knot with former model and sports anchor Sanjana Ganesan in Goa this weekend. The 27-year-old has taken a leave from the upcoming T20I series against England. The model-turned anchor, Sanjana has been a regular feature in the Star Sports presenters’ panel. Cricket South Africa have announced new captains for the team in all three formats and ODI, T20I and Test. Dean Elgar has been awarded Test captaincy. Nottinghamshire seamer Jake Ball has signed a new two-year contract with the county, that promises to keep him at Trent Bridge until the end of the 2023 season. The 29-year-old Englishman, who has played four Tests, 18 ODIs and two Twenty20s for England, has spent his entire county career with Notts. He also played seven matches for Sydney Sixers in the recent Big Bash League in Australia.
