Big Bash League: Dilbar Hussain joins Melbourne Stars

Melbourne Stars have announced the signing of fast bowler Dilbar Hussain for the 10th edition of the Big Bash League.

The 27-year-old, who hails from Pakistan, will be available for the entire campaign, starting on 10 December.

Hussain played for the Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League alongside Stars wicket-keeper batsman Ben Dunk.

“I’m very happy to be coming back to the Melbourne Stars for the Big Bash,” Hussain said. “In the short time I was with the club last season I learnt so much. I’d like to thank David Hussey who was incredibly supportive and encouraged me to keep working on my craft.”

Hussain is currently completing the mandatory two weeks quarantine in West Australia and will be available for the Stars' on December 11 in Canberra.
