Glamorgan vice-captain David Lloyd has committed his future to the County club after signing a new two-year contract that promises to keep him at Sophia Gardens until 2023.
The 28-year-old batsman has spent his entire professional career at South Wales, playing 168 matches across all formats.
“I’m really happy to be signing a new deal at Glamorgan,” said the allrounder.
“Being Welsh and playing for the only Welsh first-class county is something I’m very proud of, and to have been capped and captain Glamorgan was something I could only dream about.
Lloyd, who made his Glamorgan debut in 2012, and has since gone on to score 4,970 runs and remains an integral part of Matthew Maynard's squad.
