BBL 2020: Sam Billings joins Sydney Thunder

England batsman Sam Billings has joined the Sydney Thunder for the upcoming season.

The 29-year-old becomes the Thunder's third overseas signing in this season’s Big Bash League joining the compatriot Alex Hales and Adam Milne.


He will be available after Christmas following England’s tour to South Africa.

The 10the edition of BBL gets underway on December 10.

Nathan Bracken sues Cricket Australia

Melbourne, Thursday, October 13, 2011 Former Australian fast bowler Nathan bracken has taken Cricket Australia (CA) to the court, claiming that when he was struggling with his chronic knee injury then he did not receive any compensation for lost wages, damages and medical expenses from Cricket Australia. Bracken took his retirement in January and could not play the entire 2010 season last year due to injury. According to the report of Daily Telegraph Bracken is seeking about $1 million from CA.
