BBL 10: Hobart Hurricanes sign Tim Paine

Hobart Hurricanes have announced the signing of Tim Paine for the upcoming Big Bash League (BBL) season 10.

The Australian Test skipper returns to BBL for the first time in three seasons. He was a member of the Canes inaugural squad back in 2011, and went on to lead the club from 2013 to 2017.


"We are thrilled to be able to welcome Tim back to the Hurricanes this year," Cricket Tasmania's CEO, Dominic Baker said.

Punjab Kings step up to acquire Ricky Ponting for IPL 2025

Ricky Ponting is reportedly close to signing a deal with Punjab Kings ahead of IPL 2025, as per Cricbuzz. Having recently parted ways with Delhi Capitals, where he served as head coach for seven seasons, Ponting is expected to bring a wealth of experience and tactical expertise to Punjab.
