India tour of Australia 2020

India have announced their squad for the upcoming tour of Australia to be played next month which includes four Tests, three one-day-internationals and three Twenty20s.

It will be India's first international cricket tournament since the COVID-19 outbreak, while Australia have already played a limited-overs series in England during the summer.

The limited over games will be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground and Canberra's Manuka Oval.

SCG will also host a Test, alongside the Adelaide Oval, Melbourne Cricket Ground and the Gabba in Brisbane.

The itinerary is yet to be finalised by BCCI.

IPL Spot-fixing, Sreesanth and 2 other Rajasthan Royals players held

Three Rajasthan Royals players, Sreesanth , Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan were arrested on Thursday for their alleged involvement in spot-fixing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 6. The trio allegedly received upto Rs 60 lakh for conceding runs in a pre-determined over from bookies with possible Mumbai underworld links. The special cell of the Delhi Police arrested Sreesanth and his teammates — Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan — in Mumbai early this morning for indulging in spot-fixing in at least three IPL matches on May 5, 9 and 15. Eleven bookies have also been arrested from Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The police are on the look-out for two more bookies. A Delhi court has sent the three players and all bookies to five-day police custody. The players, who have been suspended by the BCCI, have been brought to Delhi and charged under Section 420 (cheating) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy).
