Twitter Reacts: Harry Gurney to miss T20 Blast and IPL 2020

Nottinghamshire left-arm seamer Harry Gurney has been out of action in this year’s T20 Vitality Blast with a shoulder injury.

The England international, who has become a regular on the T20 circuit in recent years, will go under the knife next month to get the problem rectified.


The 33-years-old, who also has an IPL contract with the Kolkata Knight Riders this season, has claimed 115 wickets for the Notts, including 22 in 2019.

The 2020 Vitality Blast is slated to begin on August 27.

The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
