Warwickshire sign Tim Bresnan until 2022 season

Former England all-rounder Tim Bresnan has signed a two-year deal with the Warwickshire County Cricket Club that will keep him at Edgbaston until the end of the 2022 season.


Bresnan, 35, enjoyed a 19-year career at Yorkshire and helped the White Rose that won back-to-back County Championships in the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

The veteran all-rounder is all set to join the Bears and will spend the rest of the 2020 county campaign on loan, subject to the England and Wales Cricket Board clearance.

Bresnan played 142 games for England in all formats, impressing during the 2010/11 Ashes series victory in Australia.

The 2020 county season gets underway on August 1.
