Daniel Vettori and Charl Langeveldt joins Bangladesh coaching staff

Former New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori and former South African seamer Charl Langeveldt had been appointed team's full-time bowling consultants, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have announced on Saturday.


The former left-arm spinner Vettori's contract is valid until next year's Twenty20 World Cup in Australia and he will be available to the team for around 100 days during their preparation.

The 40-year-old has held several high-profile head coaching roles in T20 format, including Indian Premier League side Royal Challengers Bangalore and Big Bash League's side Brisbane Heat.

On the other hand, Langeveldt will join as team's full-time pace bowling coach.

The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
