Australia T20 squad for Sri Lanka

Australian batsman Glenn Maxwell has been recalled into the squad for the next month's two-match Twenty20 internationals series against Sri Lanka.

The 27-year-old was into a shock when the 15-man ODI squad was announced last month but now the Victorian has held his place for the T20 matches to be played next month.



However Usman Khawaja, Josh Hazlewood and Mitch Marsh are all three has been ruled out of the squad that played in the World T20 earlier this year.

First T20 – Pallekele Stadium, 6 September.
Second T20 – R. Premadasa Stadium, 9 September.

Australia T20 squad: David Warner (capt), Scott Boland, James Faulkner, Aaron Finch, John Hastings, Travis Head, Moises Henriques, Chris Lynn, Shaun Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Peter Nevill, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa.
