The Legendary wicketkeeper-batsman Kumar Sangakkara is expected to retire from Test cricket in August 2015, when Sri Lanka will play their first Test against India at Galle, starting August 18th.
Sangakkara, 37, who already announced his retirement form one-day internationals and Twenty20 format, is likely to finalise his decision on his Test cricket future after having a meeting with the national selectors next week.
The Test match series for the India yet to be formally announced, amid speculation that wicketkeeper’s farewell match to be played to his home city of Kandy.
The world No.1 test batsman has scored 12203 runs at 58.66 in 130 Tests, including 11 Test match double centuries to his name.
