England ODI squad to face New Zealand 2015

England have announced their 14-man ODI squad to face New Zealand starting next Tuesday, with the star players - James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Moeen Ali and Ian Bel have been left out to concentrate on Test cricket ahead of the Ashes that begins on July 8.


Yorkshire leg-spinner Adil Rashid has been restored in place of Moeen, 27, who will return to play Championship cricket for Worcestershire in order to find his Test form. He may be retained as primary spinner for the Ashes but claimed only five wickets at 50.00 in the recent two Tests against New Zealand.

The 14-man squad will be led by Middlesex skipper Eoin Morgan.
