Gloucestershire have announced their second overseas acquisition by completing the signing of Australian batsman Peter Handscomb.
The 23-year-old, who plays for the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League, will arrive at the County cricket ground for all three formats of the game.
"It has always been an ambition of mine to play county cricket and I was delighted when Gloucestershire expressed an interest in me joining them," the former Australia Under-19 international told the club's official website.
"I have heard good things about the players at Nevil Road and I am looking forward to meeting up with them in April."
Peter will join the Gloucestershire with his new teammates in May.
