Forbes: Mahendra Singh Dhoni world's 5th most valuable athlete

Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been ranked fifth in Forbes’ world’s most valuable sports athlete brands list.


Forbes quotes that the 33-year-old wicket-keeper batsman has a brand value of $20m in 2014.

He is the only Indian sports athlete to feature on Forbes' list of the world's most valuable athlete brands.

Sri Lanka have announced a 16-man squad for the one-day and Twenty20 matches against Australia. The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
