England Twenty20 opener Alex Hales has signed for Hobart Hurricanes in the 2014-15 Big Bash League season.
The Nottinghamshire batsman Hales has played 32 Twenty20 internationals for England, scoring 1022 runs at 37.85.
Hales confirmed the signature on his Twitter.

The 25-year-old has experience in the Big Bash League for the Melbourne Renegades in 2012-13 and the Adelaide Strikers last summer.
