England captain Eoin Morgan has been disappointed with his team's bowling attack following the nine-run T20 defeat to Sri Lanka on Tuesday at the Oval.
The world T20 champions, Sri Lanka made an impressive 183 runs in 20 overs.
"Our bowling has let us down for quite a while," said Middlesex left-hander Morgan. "We either get up there with the chase and just fall short, or set a good score."
The hosts have lost nine of their eleven Twenty20 this year.
All-rounder Thisara Perera smashed a rapid 49 runs off 20 balls and was named Man of the Match.
