Durham sign Australian all-rounder John Hastings

Australian all-rounder John Hastings has signed defending county champions Durham as an overseas player for the 2014 season in this summer.


Durham Cricket Club announced on Twitter:
The 28-year-old has represented his country for 15 times in all formats, will replace Dale Benkenstein in the County Durham squad.

Durham coach Jon Lewis said in Durham's official website:
"We are excited about the arrival of John, he is skilful with the ball and can also contribute well with the bat. He will be a strong addition with the red and white ball and we look forward to welcoming him to Durham."
Hastings, nicknamed as "Duke" will arrive the Chester-le-Street once his IPL stint with Chennai Super Kings has concluded in June.
