Australian all-rounder John Hastings has signed defending county champions Durham as an overseas player for the 2014 season in this summer.

The 28-year-old has represented his country for 15 times in all formats, will replace Dale Benkenstein in the County Durham squad.Durham coach Jon Lewis said in Durham's official website:

He will be a strong addition with the red and white ball and we look forward to welcoming him to Durham."Hastings, nicknamed as "Duke" will arrive the Chester-le-Street once his IPL stint with Chennai Super Kings has concluded in June.
