Perth Scorchers - Yasir Arafat to replace Dwayne Smith

Pakistan all-rounder Yasir Arafat has signed Perth Scorchers for the Big Bash League. He will replace West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Smith, who will not be available to the entire Big Bash League due to his personal commitments.


Arafat, 31, played his last game in September 2012 during the World Twenty20. He has also featured in domestic leagues of England, New Zealand, Bangladesh and Scotland.
