Pakistan Right-handed batsman Mohammad Hafeez has been ruled out for Test series against South Africa in the UAE. Fast bowler Mohammad Irfan has been added to 12-man squad, announced by the PCB. The board will expand the squad to 15 later.
Pakistan Squad: Khurram Manzoor, Azhar Ali, Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), Umar Amin, Abdur Rehman, Junaid Khan, Younis Khan, Adnan Akmal (wk), Saeed Ajmal, Zulfiqar Babar, Mohammad Irfan, Rahat Ali

Mohammad Hafeez has played in each of Pakistan's last 23 Tests since November 2010, without having much success. To drop him was almost a 'national voice' and PCB had no other option despite of his great lobbying within Board circles, coach and captain.
