Australia T20 and ODI Squad - Tour Of India 2013

Cricket Australia (CA) have announced ODI squad for the Tour of India, starting from a T20 international on October 10 at Rajkot. Australia skipper Michael Clarke has been ruled out with a low back injury. Callum Ferguson will replace Clarke in the ODI squad while the right-handed batsman George Bailey will lead the ODI and T20 side.


Nic Maddinson from New South Wales Blues left-handed batsman has been added to the T20 squad. Australia to play one Twent20 International and seven ODIs starting from October 10, 2013.

The National Selector, John Inverarity said: "Michael (Clarke) was very keen to captain the ODI team to India but unfortunately he hasn't progressed enough to be available for selection.

"His replacement is Callum Ferguson, whose form in 50-over cricket during the last Australian summer was impressive. George Bailey will captain the ODI team in Michael's absence. "
