India - Irfan Pathan sidelined for six weeks

India's medium-pacer Irfan Pathan has been ruled out for almost six weeks with a rib injury.


Irfan had been a part of India A squad for the ongoing ODI series against West Indies A.

"It was a recent injury, it happened when I was bowling in Bangalore [the venue of India A one-day matches]," he told to media.

"Should be back on the field in around 6 weeks. I understand a few fans are disappointed, so am I. But don't worry #faith," he tweeted.
