Lancashire have signed England's right-handed batsman-wicketkeeper Jos Buttler from Somerset. The 23-year-old, Buttler leave Somerset to pursue more opportunities as a wicketkeeper-batsman at Lancashire.
As a wicketkeeper the first choice of Somerset is Craig Kieswetter and with lesser opportunities on his way, Buttler made a swoop to Lancashire.
Buttler said "They have a strong squad and are very ambitious to build on this season's achievement. The club has an exceptional coaching staff which will help me to continue to develop as a keeper batsman."
Buttler made made ODI debut in February 2012 and has played 19 games since then. In just 25 T20Is, Buttler has scored 286 runs.
