Australia ODI squad against Scotland and England

Australia's Left-handed batsman David Warner has been dropped from ODIs squad against Scotland and England, while Left arm fast bowler Mitchell Starc will return to Home.


The Australia coach Darren Lehmann said, "David has been left out of the Australian ODI squad for this tour purely due to his recent lack of form in this format, By his own admission, David would acknowledge that unfortunately he hasn't scored the weight of runs that he would like recently in one-day cricket for his country."

Squad: Michael Clarke (capt), George Bailey, James Faulkner, Aaron Finch, Fawad Ahmed, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Mitchell Johnson, Shaun Marsh, Josh Hazlewood, Phillip Hughes, Adam Voges, Matthew Wade (wk), Glenn Maxwell, Clint McKay, Shane Watson.

Sri Lanka have announced a 16-man squad for the one-day and Twenty20 matches against Australia. The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
