England left-arm spinner, Monty Panesar has been dropped from the England squad for the fourth Ashes Test after urinating on nightclub bouncers.
According to the Daily Express, the Sussex county player, who relieved himself on the bouncers after being thrown out of the popular Shooshh club at Brighton following a harassment complaint, now faces the prospect of sanctions from his county club Sussex.
The 31-year-old had to pay a £90 fine to the police after the incident, for which he has reportedly apologised, with Sussex confirming that they had launched an investigation into the incident.
The incident took place in the early hours of Monday morning as Panesar's colleagues were taking rest before the final day of the third Ashes, although Panesar had been included in the 14-man squad but did not play in the Old Trafford match.
Panesar is not new to controversies, he was also arrested and interviewed by the police in 2011 after a heated argument with his wife in a pub car park. He was subsequently released without charge.
England's first Sikh cricketer Panesar, who made his test debut in 2006 for England, has played 48 Tests and took 216 wickets.
