Ireland ODIs Squad against Pakisatn


Ireland Left-handed batsman John Mooney has been included in 14-man squad to take on Pakistan in two ODIs. Though he is unavailable for the first match on May 23. William Porterfield will be the captain of the squad.


Ireland's coach, Phil Simmons said, "We've always got a chance in our conditions, We've turned in some strong performances in recent years especially against England and Australia and lost matches we should have won. We're getting stronger all the time and we'll be well prepared and try to put them under pressure from the start."

Ireland squad: William Porterfield (captain), Alex Cusack, Tim Murtagh, Kevin O'Brien, George Dockrell, Trent Johnston, James Shannon, Max Sorensen, Ed Joyce, John Mooney, Paul Stirling, Andrew White, Niall O'Brien, Gary Wilson.
