IPL - Chennai Super Kings enter Fifth Final

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) demolished Mumbai Indians by 48 runs and enters directly into the final of the Indian premier league season 6.

In first innings, CSK put total of 191 for 1 on the boards, unfortunately Mumbai Indians folded up for 144 though MI will get another chance to get into the finals when they face-off against the losers of the second play-off match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals on 24 May 2013.

For CSK, Michael Hussey scored 86 runs in just 58 balls and Suresh Raina scored 82 runs in 42 balls both on an unbeaten 140–run stand for the second wicket.

Left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja bowled very well in favour of CSK as he ended with a haul of 3 for 31 off his quota of four overs.

IPL Spot-fixing, Sreesanth and 2 other Rajasthan Royals players held

Three Rajasthan Royals players, Sreesanth , Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan were arrested on Thursday for their alleged involvement in spot-fixing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 6. The special cell of the Delhi Police arrested Sreesanth and his teammates — Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan — in Mumbai early this morning for indulging in spot-fixing in at least three IPL matches on May 5, 9 and 15. Eleven bookies have also been arrested from Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The police are on the look-out for two more bookies. A Delhi court has sent the three players and all bookies to five-day police custody.
