Sangakkara passes 10,000 Test runs


Sri Lanka wicket-keeper cum batsman Kumar Sangakkara became the 11th cricketer to pass 10,000 runs in Test cricket during the second Test against Australia in Melbourne on Wednesday.


The 35-year-old Sangakkara is the second Sri Lankan in the 10,000-Test runs after Mahela Jayawardene.

Sri Lanka ODI, T20 squad for Australia

Sri Lanka have announced a 16-man squad for the one-day and Twenty20 matches against Australia. The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
