Pakistan ODI and Twenty20 squad for the tour of India

Pakistan allrounder, Shahid Afridi has been ruled out from the ODI squad against India in December. However, Afridi retained in Twenty20 squad.


Pakistan's chief selector Iqbal Qasim said, "Dropping Afridi was a difficult decision, He is no doubt a great player and has the ability to win a game, but the decision has been taken in the interest of the team. We did retain him in the T20 squad and if he performs well he can win back his ODI place in the future."

Pakistan ODI squad: Mohammad Hafeez, Azhar Ali, Haris Sohail, Kamran Akmal, Nasir Jamshed, Younis Khan, Junaid Khan, Umar Gul, Misbah-ul-Haq, Saeed Ajmal, Umar Akmal, Anwar Ali, Wahab Riaz, Imran Farhat, Zulfiqar Babar.

Pakistan Twenty20 squad: Mohammad Hafeez, Nasir Jamshed, Shahid Afridi, Saeed Ajmal, Kamran Akmal, Umar Akmal, Junaid Khan, Sohail Tanvir, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Irfan, Zulfiqar Babar, Ahmed Shehzad, Umar Amin, Umar Gul, Asad Ali.

Three Rajasthan Royals players, Sreesanth , Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan were arrested on Thursday for their alleged involvement in spot-fixing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 6.
