England ODI, T20 Squad against Pakistan in United Arab Emirates


England All-rounder Tim Bresnan has been added in one-day and Twenty20 squads. While Ian Bell has been dropped from the limited over series.


21-year-old Buttler, hard-hitting player from Somerset has also been included in the 16-member one-day squad.

National selector Geoff Miller said
"We have selected two squads that include both experienced international players and younger players who have performed strongly for England Lions in recent months and deserve an opportunity to further test themselves against quality opposition."

"Playing against Pakistan in the UAE will be challenging but it is important that these players continue to develop their skills so that we are able to make strides in limited-overs cricket, particularly on the subcontinent." 

England ODI squad: Alastair Cook (captain), Jonny Bairstow, James Anderson, Danny Briggs, Ravi Bopara, Steve Finn, Stuart Broad, Eoin Morgan, Tim Bresnan, Craig Kieswetter, Jade Dernbach, Kevin Pietersen, Jos Buttler, Graeme Swann, Jonathan Trott and Samit Patel.

IPL Spot-fixing, Sreesanth and 2 other Rajasthan Royals players held

Three Rajasthan Royals players, Sreesanth , Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan were arrested on Thursday for their alleged involvement in spot-fixing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 6. The trio allegedly received upto Rs 60 lakh for conceding runs in a pre-determined over from bookies with possible Mumbai underworld links. The special cell of the Delhi Police arrested Sreesanth and his teammates — Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan — in Mumbai early this morning for indulging in spot-fixing in at least three IPL matches on May 5, 9 and 15. Eleven bookies have also been arrested from Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The police are on the look-out for two more bookies. A Delhi court has sent the three players and all bookies to five-day police custody. The players, who have been suspended by the BCCI, have been brought to Delhi and charged under Section 420 (cheating) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy).
