Aaqib Javed is the new bowling coach for Pakistan

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed former fast bowler Aaqib Javed as the bowling coach of the team just before the test series against England in UAE starts in January.


Javed has been added in the nine-man support staff for the series.

The former Pakistan batsman, Ijaz Ahmed, has been named as the fielding coach, while Mohsin Khan continue as the interim head coach.

Sri Lanka have announced a 16-man squad for the one-day and Twenty20 matches against Australia. The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
