England Became Number 1 after 32 Years

England here on Saturday on the third test against India won the test match and the series lead by 3-0 with an innings and 242 runs, and became the world's number one team in the ICC test Championship after 32 years. Andrew Strauss's team begun the series at the third place in Rankings.


England in Lords 196, in Trent bridge 319 runs and now in Edgbaston after the big bang win, england team accomplished the mission of becoming number one in test. Haroon Lorgat, the ICC chief executive led the praises for England and Wales Cricket Board including Andrew Strauss's team.

The Icc ranking table will be updated after the 4th and final test match of series in oval on August 22. If England win the 4th test, then india ranking will drop to 117 points. If india wins the 4th test or draw, then india will intact at No.2
