Harbhajan' Mother sues UB over Dhoni spoof commerical

Indian Great Spinner, Harbhajan Singh's mother has lodge a legal notice against an advertisement in which India captain M.s Dhoni ridicules her son.

The spoof shows a Harbhajan Singh lookalike being slapped.


Harbhajan's mom Avtar Kaur has asked the company to apologise and withdraw the advertisement in 3 days of receiving the legal notice.

However, the Times of India newspaper reported that the chief of UB Group "Vijay Mallya", has ruled out withdrawing the commercial.

Vijay Mallya, who is also the head of Formula One [F1] team Force India, told the newspaper that "It was not meant to attack Harbhajan Singh personally. It was just a spoof between two brands"
"There are several TV programmes that spoof our politicians. What will happen if all of them start sending legal notices?"

Nathan Bracken sues Cricket Australia

Melbourne, Thursday, October 13, 2011 Former Australian fast bowler Nathan bracken has taken Cricket Australia (CA) to the court, claiming that when he was struggling with his chronic knee injury then he did not receive any compensation for lost wages, damages and medical expenses from Cricket Australia.
