A leading newspaper selected South African Test captain Graeme Smith as a "Mampara of the Week". In the local language "Mampara" means idiot.


The Weekly newspaper 'Sunday Times' said about smith "Our mampara cricket captain just doesn`t get it about having to say sorry"
Significantly, the South Africa had lost World Cup quarter-final against New Zealand.

Sri Lanka ODI, T20 squad for Australia

Sri Lanka have announced a 16-man squad for the one-day and Twenty20 matches against Australia. The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
