According to the "Saturday Star" Cricket South Africa will formally announce this on monday. Authorities were interview several candidates around the world for this job.
To get World Cup title for Team India and the number one Test ranking, Kirsten will replace former coach Corrie van Zyl. Yet, CSA declined to comment on the issue.
In the past for some time Kirsten was speculation about the coach.
Former South African captain Kepler Wessels welcomed the decision, saying it would be good for South African cricket. Kirsten has worked very well in India. He knows what to expect from the coach at this level.
